Trains from Paris’s Gare d'Austerlitz leave for Orléans every hour or so; the 137-km (78-mile) trip takes between 60 and 95 minutes, with a change in suburban Les Aubrais sometimes required (€10–€21.40). Multiple direct trains per day also connect Orléans with Tours (75 mins, €20.70), Blois (25–45 mins, €11.50), and Angers (2 hrs, 5 mins; €34.50). Once here, the civic tramway makes it easy to get from the rail station to the Old Town and the banks of the Loire.
