A room with a view of the falls means staying in a high-rise hotel, usually a chain. Hotels with falls views are clustered near the two streets leading down to the falls, Clifton Hill (and adjacent Victoria Avenue), and Murray Street (and adjacent Fallsview Boulevard), also called Murray Hill. Families gravitate toward Clifton Hill, with its video arcades, chain restaurants, and Maid of the Mist docking at the end of the street. Murray Hill, where the Fallsview Casino is, is less ostentatious and closer to the falls.

Niagara Falls has plenty of B&Bs, but they're mediocre compared to those in Niagara-on-the-Lake, 20 km (12 miles) north. All the hotels we recommend here are within walking distance of the falls.
