The eclectic accommodations lineup in Banff includes historic mountain resorts, supremely luxurious hotels, quaint inns, roadside motels, and even some backcountry lodges without electricity or running water. Most lodgings do not have meal plans, though some offer breakfast.
With just a few exceptions, room rates are highest from mid-June to late September and between Christmas and New Year's. In many cases, the best rates can be found from October to mid-November and from May to mid-June.
More accommodations can be found just outside the park in Canmore and in Kananaskis Country, a large multiuse provincial recreation area.
